While much of the the nation’s mid-section is getting hammered by a blizzard, it looks as if Elkhart will only feel a wisp of its potential beginning early Friday morning.
The blizzard is striking parts of northern Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri, and some accumulations could reach two feet.
According to the National Weather Service forecast, Elkhart will see mostly rain, drizzle and not much more than an inch or so of snow.
