Once again, Michiana is lucky to be fairly close to one of RateBeer’s Best of winners.
There were more than 1900 new breweries world wide that were registered on RateBeer during 2012. In order to qualify for this category, a brewery could not receive it’s first review until after January 1, 2012. Of this group, five have been selected as the best.
The number 1 spot goes to Pipeworks Brewing Company, Chicago. I have yet to taste any of their beer, so if anyone has had this opportunity (or experiences with any of the other winners), please share your experience in the comments section.
