What parents, teachers need to know

CNN brought in more than 750 responses after posting “The one thing parents/teachers really need to know is _____.” on its Facebook page.

The responses led to an article and a gallery of photos with some of the most insightful responses. You can see the hundreds of responses to the original Facebook thread here.

The 10 responses CNN chose to highlight especially call for parents to take on more responsibility in their children’s learning, while parents stated their frustration with how school today seems to be geared towards memorization and passing tests. The responses also touch on concerns about ADHD, homework and bullying.
