Today is the day RV start-up company Grand Design is celebrating three milestones: Their 100th employee, their 100th day of production and their 100th Solitude fifth-wheel.
Don Clark (pictured above in a Solitude RV, Truth file photo), president and co-owner, said the company will have a lunch-time ceremony to “thank employees for what they’re doing” and to mark the company’s 100s.
Clark and co-owners Ron Fenech and Bill Fenech unveiled the company in Louisville at the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association’s annual trade show in November, and Clark detailed the company’s birth last month for The Elkhart Truth/eTruth.com.
Since then, he said, their first product “has been flying off dealer lots” as the RV industry continues to gain momentum.
