If you didn’t get your tickets for the Knights of Columbus event to serve fried chicken and mojos from Shakey’s, you’re out of luck.
Steve Riikonen, one of the organizers for the club at 112 E. Lexington Ave., Elkhart, said the 600 tickets are gone.
The event will be on Jan. 26 and has been popular as many fans of Shakey’s, which was open in Elkhart from 1968 to 1998, want to get a taste of the past.
